The developed mathematical models, methods, algorithms and computer programs are used in the design of rocket vehicles, nuclear charges, atomic and thermonuclear installations, large-sized cabins for disassembling nuclear weapons, containers for transporting radioactive materials and other mechanical engineering structures Head of grants of the Russian Foundation for Basic Research, the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Ministry of Education and Science, head of large projects commissioned by Rosatom enterprises (RFNC-VNIIEF, OKB of Mechanical Engineering, Atomenergoproekt).

He is the author and co-author of more than 200 scientific articles and 10 monographs and textbooks. These works make a significant contribution to the development of computational and experimental methods for studying the deformation and strength properties of materials and complex structures of mechanical engineering under non-stationary dynamic influences and interaction with compressible media (liquid, gas, soil) with integrated consideration of physical and geometric nonlinear effects. The author of RF patent 2324162 "Method for determining the deformation and strength properties of materials under large deformations and inhomogeneous stress-strain state".
